Situated on a cycling route next to 60 acres of forest, The Chocolate Suite is an oasis of calm that's only 7 minutes away from beautiful Sandbanks Provincial Park. Our guest house is it's own separate space, with full kitchen, two bedrooms, 20" wide rammed earth walls and triple-glazed windows. All building materials have been thoughtfully chosen, from the rammed earth walls formed out of local subsoils & aggregate to the birch ply walls  and Swedish Marmoleum flooring made from linseed oils, wood dust, resin and jute. We're  close to Picton, Milford and a short drive to the best of the County's wineries.  

We've invested in a permaculture plan that allows us to grow fruits and vegetables on our 6 acre plot with minimal inputs. We'll send you home with some samples of whatever is in season at the moment. We encouraging native plants, eliminating invasives and partnered with Ducks Unlimited early on to create a duck pond at the back of our property.  We're happy to report that we now welcome a nesting pair of Mallards every spring.
